NURSE 5572II      Preceptorship II
This course provides oppertunities to apply knowledge and skills from advanced nursing role, theory, research and noenatal clinical courses to the advances therapeutic management of hish-risk neonates. This is the first of two preceptorships courses. The other course, NURSE 5572NI, can be taken concurrently or in consectuive semesters. Emphasis is placed on therepeutic measures within a conceptual framework or model applying findings from research relevant to comprehensive care of neonates. The client system will be the neonate and family. This course consists of five credit hours of clinical experiences consiting of a minimum of 300 hours of pratice and clinical seminars.
